Overnight Oats with Kefir

Looking for an easy way to have a healthy breakfast on the go? Try this unique twist to a classic overnight oats recipe from professional triathlete and dietitian Erin Green.

  • Yields: 1 Serving


¼ cup rolled oats

¼ cup blueberries

2 Medjool dates, pitted & chopped 1 Tbsp chia seeds

1 Tbsp chopped nuts

1 Tbsp ground flaxseed

1 tsp ground cinnamon

¼ tsp ground ginger

1 - 1 ½ cup any flavor kefir


Add all ingredients except kefir into a mason jar. Attach the lid and gently toss the ingredients until well combined. Remove lid and add the liquid. Stir until thoroughly mixed. Store in the refrigerator overnight. Enjoy!

*Any dried fruit and nut combination may be substituted, along with different spices and flavors (i.e. cocoa powder, cinnamon or maple) Get creative!
