Utah Dairy Women

The Utah Dairy Women’s Organization promotes the enjoyment of dairy foods in cooperation with the Dairy Council of Utah/Nevada. Their intent is to stimulate interest in existing programs and develop new opportunities as occasions arise. The organization directs and supervises the Utah Dairy Ambassador Scholarship Program and organizes various activities over the course of the year including a fall luncheon and breakout session at the annual dairy convention.

Dairy Women’s

DW Fall luncheon

An annual tradition, the Dairy Women’s Fall Luncheon is held each fall as a way to make connections, enjoy engaging entertainment, and celebrate each other’s company. This year, the Dairy Women are proud to welcome Abby Stephens. Abby’s talk, “Arise and Walk” is inspired by her life. She went from a very active young adult to a quadriplegic due to an accident just weeks prior to her marriage. After being told that she would never walk again, her determination and hard work had her walking out of the hospital just three months later. At this year’s luncheon, Abby will share her story about the power of a positive attitude and being able to find the good in every situation. With humor and grace, Abby manages being a wife, mother of four (including twins) all with the use of one arm!
