June Dairy Month: Raise a Glass!

From the milk in your cereal, cheese on your pizza, to the cream in your coffee – it’s the wonderful taste of dairy, and it’s time to celebrate! June is Dairy month, and we are ready to celebrate everything we love about dairy.

On June 1st, World Milk Day, we brought 14 local chefs to a dairy farm. Connecting chefs with the farmers who produce the food they prepare was a great way to share Dairy’s farm to table story. It was fun to watch chefs and farmers interacting, asking questions, and learning from each other. With big smiles, everyone raised a glass to celebrate dairy, world milk day, and dairy farming.

Let’s  salute our farmers, whose hard work 365 days a year to care for their cows keep our stomachs and hearts happy.

To celebrate Dairy Month here in Utah (aside from enjoying delicious dairy), stop by Thanksgiving Point for their Dairy Day, where you can see calves, make butter, and play a variety of games! Next time you are enjoying that burger topped with a slice of melty cheddar, or that thick creamy chocolate milkshake to cool down on a hot summer day, just remember – it’s undeniably dairy!
