The Cornell Experience
Liberty Jersey Farm in Fallon, NV welcomes their son Ted back to the farm…
News from guest blogger, Val Christoph:
I can’t believe it has been 6 weeks since we were in Ithaca, New York for our son’s graduation from Cornell University! He made it!! He graduated with a degree in Animal Science (cum laude) and minor in Ag Business. The countryside is beautiful and so green. He had many great experiences while in college: the CUDS (Cornell University Dairy Science) group went to New Zealand in 2011 & Germany in 2012. He was on the Dairy Challenge team this spring, which won and has made many wonderful friends. He is now successfully employed at Liberty Jersey Farm. All three of our children were in college this past year, so we were empty nesters for a few months. It was pretty quiet around here. Now it’s chaos (it seems), with loads and loads of laundry and lots of cooking. It seems I am at the grocery store every other day! In less than 2 weeks, our two daughters will head off to college again. It might seem strange for Ted to not be planning that trip back east, but I know he will handle it real well. It’s great to have him home!
