Smoothies are a great grab and go breakfast or snack. Sunrise smoothie is attractive, nutritious and great for kids and adults. One smoothie provides a full serving of dairy and fruit! Check out our Breakfast Smoothies for more great ideas!

Ingredients

1st layer Ingredients:

1 cup 1% milk

1/2 cup frozen mango chunks

1/2 cup canned peach slices, drained, frozen

1/2 banana

1/4 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt

1 teaspoon sugar, optional - more or less to taste

2nd layer Ingredients:

1 cup milk

1 cup frozen raspberries or strawberries

1/2 banana

1/4 cup vanilla yogurt

1 teaspoon sugar, optional - more or less to taste

Directions

For each layer, combine ingredients and blend until smooth; pour 1st layer into 3 tall glasses; pour approximately 1/3 of second layer on top 1st layer and gently stir to create streaks and waves as the two layers partially mix. Add remaining smoothie to the top. Add straw and garnish with orange slice or fresh strawberry.
