Connie Mickelson is one of our school mentors. She shared this recipe with us as one of her Good 'Ol Traditional No-Bake Cookies.
As simple as mixing, heating, scooping, and cooling, these cookies are a great addition to your holiday cookie tray.
Day 7 of our 12-Days of Christmas Cookies
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup butter
3 tablespoons cocoa
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup peanut butter
3 cups quick-cooking oats
Combine sugar, milk, butter and cocoa in a saucepan. Bring to a boil for one minute (accurate timing important!).
Add salt and vanilla. Blend in peanut butter and oats. Mx well.
Drop by teaspoonfuls on wax paper to cool.
Ready to enjoy in 15 minutes.
