Salmon and heavy cream? It’s a great combo! Here’s another amazing recipe from an Idaho dairy farm family. Thanks to Mary-Mac DeGroot for welcoming us into your kitchen!
|Total Time:||25 minutes|
1 large salmon fillet
1 bay leaf
1 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme leaves
2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
Place salmon fillet(s) in single layer in baking or gratin dish. Top with bay leaf. Pour the heavy cream over the salmon and sprinkle with thyme, dill, salt, and pepper. Bake until fish flakes easily when pierced with fork and the cream thickens, about 15 minutes.
Discard bay leaf and serve, spooning warm cream and herbs over fish.
