Meet a Northern Utah Dairyman…

Meet Kyle, the farmer behind the face in our “Cow Locale” header. He is a 3rd generation dairy farmer in Newton, UT and farms on Bridgerland Dairy with his family. Kyle milks both Holstein and Jersey dairy cows twice a day, everyday, and his cows love munching on delicious hay. The milk from his cows gets made into cheese.

Work on the dairy involves more than just milking. Each day, Kyle gets up at 4:00AM to…

  • Milk cows
  • Feed cows & calves
  • Clean corrals & haul away manure
  • Provide comfortable and clean beds for each cow
  • Care for any sick animals
  • Maintain records
  • Repair stalls and mend fences & gates as necessary

“I enjoy working with cows and farming the land – also working with my family.”  – Kyle Anderson
